Samsung Reveals Ingenious See-Through Safety Trucks

Samsung might have just saved hundreds, if not thousands of lives with their ingenious new truck design, revealing the road ahead to the driver behind.

There are probably three major things that can turn a great mood from a peaceful drive into one of pure irritation: traffic, pot holes and being stuck behind a truck.

For some, being stuck behind a truck is something drivers would rather avoid but are left helpless due to the fact that they can’t see the road ahead to safely pass ahead.

Thankfully, Samsung Argentina has the solution with the new “Safety Truck.”

The Safety Truck gives the illusion of being see-through to see the traffic in front of the larger vehicle. The trucks are equipped with a camera on front of the truck with four display panels on the back to allow drivers to see the road ahead to ensure their ability to safely overtake the truck.

Samsung Argentina is working with the government and safe-driving NGOs for permits and approvals to hopefully reduce the number of traffic accidents on two-lane roads. If the trucks are to become a more regular sight on the roads, the major challenge the company will face is the expense of putting the cameras and panels.
