Everything We Know About Season 3 Of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead

Fear The Walking Dead is set to return to AMC on June 4th, and PopWrapped has the latest news and updates about Season 3.

Season 7 of The Walking Dead has come to an end and the world suddenly seems a lot more gloomy and miserable, but Fear The Walking Dead is about to swoop in to save us all from the zombieless blues. The spin-off series of TWD is set to return to AMC on June 4th with a third season, after a far too long season break, and the TWD family is ecstatic.

When fans last saw the survivors of the new post-apocalyptic world, they were fractured, split in many different groups and different directions. Ofelia was on her own and had just crossed over the border back into America before encountering a stranger. Nick and Luciana were heading for the border with the rest of the Colonia before being attacked by a group with guns.

Strand had opted to stay back at the hotel, while Madison, Travis, and Alicia traveled to the Colonia in the hopes of finding Nick. Things weren’t looking too good for any of them, and from the new information released by AMC, they all have plenty of struggles ahead.

As Fear the Walking Dead returns for season three, our families will be brought together in the vibrant and violent region formerly known as the U.S.-Mexico border. International lines done away with following the world’s end, our characters must attempt to rebuild not only society, but family as well. Madison has reconnected with Travis, her apocalyptic partner, but Alicia has been fractured by her murder of Andres. Madison’s son is only a few miles from his mother, but Nick’s first action as a leader saw him and Luciana ambushed by an American militia group – the couple escaped death, Luciana was shot, and Nick no longer feels immortal. Recovering both emotionally and physically, Strand has his sights set on harnessing the new world’s currency, and Ofelia’s captivity will test her ability to survive and see if she can muster the savagery of her father.”

Along with a season synopsis, several short teaser clips have been released, and as expected, things aren’t looking too great.  In one teaser, Nick and Luciana appear to encounter a herd of the infected.  In another, Alicia is wielding a gun and Strand is being taken down by one of the undead. If they’re any indication, fans can expect more of the infected, more tight situations, and most likely the loss of a character or two.

Season 3 will also see the addition of new characters. Teen Wolf alum Daniel Sharman and The Following star Sam Underwood, both cast as series regulars, will play members of the Otto family, founders of a survivalist organization who were prepared for the fall of democracy. Lisandra Tena, from Chicago P.D., will join the cast as Lola Guerrero. Dayton Callie from Sons of Anarchy will also join as a series regular, although the specifics of his character are not known.

Season 3 is set to return to AMC on June 4th at 9 PM/ET with two back-to-back episodes.
