Sochi Accommodations Sub Par For Olympic Games

NULL

Kate MacHale

Staff Writer

For those of you who have either avoided the news, or don’t pay attention to the Olympics, celebrities and news casters are not so pleased. Thus far, the accommodations in Sochi Russia have been well below par. With all of the bad press that has surrounded these Winter Games, they honestly cannot afford to have much more. Unfortunately for Sochi, this is a modern age with technology, and the tweets keep on coming.

While the Russian PR teams have been tight-lipped about the terrible lodging,  the other international reporters are not so kind. Twitter os blowing up about a hotel without a lobby, a shower with exposed wiring, and no access to filtered water, among other things.

Oh boy, I have a feeling this is not the end of what we hear pertaining to the Olympic housings.

Make sure you tune into the opening ceremonies, tonight February 7, 2014 on NBC staring at 7:30 est. Until then, enjoy some tweets about well everything that can go wrong. In the meantime make sure you follow @SochiProblems on twitter.
