Tamta Launches International Career With ‘Unloved’

Greek recording artist Tamta is launching her international career with an amazing new single, titled “Unloved”.

Tamta is an established pop singer in Greece and is mostly known outside of the country for her collaboration with international producer and DJ Xenia Ghali. After three successful studio albums in her home country, the songstress is now preparing to launch her international career with a brand-new single, titled “Unloved”.

Produced by Yacoub Rami (yup, the one who co-produced Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time”) and Alex Papaconstantinou (Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias), “Unloved” serves as a dark electro-pop banger. Tamta is definitely introducing herself to brand-new listeners in a big way, with an addictive hook full of repetitive lyrics and an extremely anthemic chorus. In fact, the song manages to fit well in the European dance genre, but it’s more twisted and progressive overall. It builds slowly before exploding and her vocals are right on point throughout, with even the few autotuned bits adding to the overall flow.

“Unloved” serves as the very first single to be lifted from the songstress’ forthcoming, fourth studio album and debut one in the international market. Tamta rose to fame after coming second in the first national version of the British Pop Idol, called Super Idol, and has come a long way ever since. After being one of the most interesting pop acts of the country for the last decade, it’s only normal that she’s finally spreading her wings to a wider audience. Take a listen to “Unloved” below.
