Tracy Anderson To Launch SiriusXM Radio Show

Exercise and wellness guru Tracy Anderson is launching a weekly radio show on the SiriusXM platform.

Satellite radio is about to get a whole lot fitter. Exercise and wellness guru Tracy Anderson is launching a weekly radio show on the SiriusXM platform. Airing on Mondays beginning this month, Anderson hopes her show will break down the walls between consumers and those providing content in wellness and other arenas.

On each show, Anderson will speak with an expert or “influencer” about a specific topic. In a press release, Anderson said, “My passion is helping women find their own formula for being their most balanced and empowered selves—through exercise, nutrition, wellness, or mind/body strength—and we will explore it all with this new SiriusXM show.”

Tracy Anderson’s Celeb Cred

Anderson has enjoyed a cult following in the fitness and wellness worlds for more than a decade. Celeb devotees of the Tracy Anderson Method, a unique and intense blend of dance cardio and muscular structure floor work, include Jennifer Lopez, Alessandra Ambrosio, Robert Downey Jr., Lena Dunham, Drew Barrymore, and friend and business partner, Gwyneth Paltrow.

Tracy Anderson’s Fitness Empire

A SiriusXM radio show seems a natural progression for Anderson, whose empire has blossomed from traditional (though ultra luxe) gyms and fitness DVDs to apparel, streaming workouts, and a line of organic and natural protein bars at Target. And in addition to her existing gyms in New York City, the Hamptons, and Los Angeles, Anderson opened a new 4,000-square-foot studio in Tribeca late last year, complete with a juice bar, retail space, and workout rooms with her signature “bouncy floors” and band system.

With her new SiriusXM show, Anderson wants to keep that connection with her clients and fans growing while inspiring them along the way: “I think it’s gonna be really empowering for a lot of women. There’s gonna be so much takeaway.”

The Tracy Anderson Show on SiriusXM launches June 19. In the meantime, Anderson will be rocking a monogrammed bodysuit and killer leg moves like nobody else.
