Who doesn’t love a good bit of political satire, especially with the upcoming elections? If politics and comedy are your thing (like they are mine), then Our Brand Is Crisis will be right up your alley. The trailer just dropped, and I have to say, it looks amazing.

The film, based on the documentary of the same name, tells the story of a political strategist (Sandra Bullock) traveling to South America to help win an election for an unpopular candidate (acclaimed Portuguese actor Joaquim De Almeida) but encountering a variety of oddballs and challenges along the way. It’s a very funny look at a very serious topic; as we know, the funniest films arise out of the most dire subjects, which is clearly the case here.

Directed by acclaimed auteur David Gordon Green (George Washington, Undertow, Pineapple Express) and starring Bullock and Almeida, along with Billy Bob Thornton, Zoe Kazan and Anthony Mackie, it is set to be released on October 30th.
