In one of the biggest announcements of the day, Hannah Hart (MyHarto) was joined by Grace Helbig (DailyGrace) and Mamrie Hart (YouDeserveADrink) on the main stage to unveil the plans for their movie. Camp Takota starts shooting next week and will be made available exclusively on the pay-to-view site, Chill.com. Helbig will play a twenty-something who returns to work at her old summer camp and reconnects with two old friends, Hart and Hart.

Over at the meet-up with John and Hank, the brothers spoke about their recently released site, Subbable.com, which ran into an issue with Amazon Payments only a week after going live. The site allows audiences to connect directly with their favorite creators by choosing and paying for different subscriptions that offer perks.

The issue with Amazon Payments means subscribers can only choose the $0 option for now, but John said they hope to have the issued resolved soon. “It’ll either be two days or two weeks,” he said. “In two days, we’ll know if it’s two weeks.”

John also revealed that his publishers are not pushing him to write a new novel because they want stay focused on the continued success of his New York Times bestseller, The Fault in Our Stars. The young adult book is currently being made into a feature film starring Shailene Woodley. The author revealed that he will be spending a significant amount of time on the set of the film in the coming months, a move that is sure to help reassure fans who want to see the book faithfully adapted.

Beyond the meets ups, YouTubers attended panels to learn how to make better videos and engage subscribers. There were also faithful fans who lined up for hours to get autographs from their favorite creators and stars. Attendees screamed themselves hoarse when performers like Nick Pitera and Tyler Ward or personalities like Felicia Day, Jack and Finn Harries, or Tyler Oakley took the stage. In short, just a typical vid-tastic day at VidCon.
