star Maulik Pancholy is the latest celebrity to very casually come out in an interview.
Out magazine released their annual Out100 list today, which celebrates LGBT people who are making strides in their various fields. Pancholy was listed as number one on the list.
In the interview he said, "I just celebrated my nine-year anniversary with my partner. It feels like a nice time to be celebrating something like that, especially on the heels of the DOMA and Prop 8 decisions.” Pancholy's announcement seems less like a revelation and more like a conversation topic, a brief celebration of this milestone.
Pancholy played a gay college student in Weeds, and a secretary that was in love with his boss Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock. Right now, however, he is voicing a cartoon character in Sanjay and Craig on Nickelodeon.
