@chrissyyydeeeSan Fransico 49ers Linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport Sunday afternoon after allegedly making a bomb threat. He was also booked for making a false report. Around 2 pm on Sunday, the 24-year-old went through Security Screening at Terminal 1. He began to become uncooperative with the process and the TSA agent. After Smith’s threat, LAPD took him to LAPD-Pacific where he was booked. A witness at the airport said Smith might have been drinking, but that didn’t lead to his arrest on the bomb threat. Smith missed five games last season while trying to overcome his substance abuse problem. Sadly, this isn’t Smith’s first arrest. Two days before a game against the Colts, Smith was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a single-car accident in San Jose. Although he did play in the game, he went on a five-week voluntary leave to enrol at a substance abuse treatment center. The 24-year-old was also charged with three felony weapons counts from a June 2012 party held at his house. He pled not guilty to the possession of the guns. He was injured as a passenger in a single-car accident near his San Jose home. “We are disappointed to learn of the incident today involving Aldon Smith," 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said in a statement. "As this is a pending legal matter and we are still gathering the pertinent facts, we will have no further comment."
