Ever since the very first episode of Pretty Little Liars debuted back in 2010, the relationships for the five girls has been intense. Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson), Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell), and Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) have been dealing with men, and women, who aren't who they seem. In the new seasons, relationships will continue to be tested, as each girl has to face a new villain out to get them.
Aria has a new relationship with a guy she worked with in Boston, but not Ezra. Ezra is with another woman he met over the last few years that the fans missed. For Hanna, her and Caleb aren't very close anymore. All these girls have dealt with so much in the past five years with new relationships, lives, and just getting used to the future. They are back in Rosewood and meeting up with Alison to get back to where they started.
According to Hannah Orenstein's interview with the main girls of Pretty Little Liars on Seventeen.com, Sasha Pieterese's scoop on her upcoming romance in the following season is a little more "normal":
Last time we saw Ali, it was in a flash-forward to her future as Mrs. Rollins. But when 6B opens, she's still using the last name DiLaurentis, so fans will get to watch her relationship with Dr. Rollins unfold from the beginning. And it all sounds like total bliss, which Sasha admits is rare for her character. When we come back, she's not married yet, but you see her relationship transform and this this love story with [Doctor Rollins] begins. It's very cute, and I really like it. It's a good direction, and I think the fans, as much as they're all for Emison, are still going to like this… I'm finally normal! I have a healthy love story, which is unusual for Alison, obviously.
Will Alison's marriage will last? Does Aria stays with her new man? Do Spencer and Emily stay single? There's so many questions we need answered!
Don't miss Season 6B, which premieres on January 12th.
