As children of the 80's and a true lovers of movie magic we have to pay tribute to the always amazing Lily Tomlin. The first film we ever saw was the Incredible Shrinking Woman, and the first film we ever saw in a movie theater with our parents was 9 to 5. Both had one thing in common: Lily. Also being twins, how could we not love her twin film Big Business with Bette Midler. We have followed her whole career and been fans of her work for decades. But at 75 years old, much like the words in that #1 song by her good friend Dolly Parton, "here she comes again", taking Hollywood and critics by storm.
Lily is an Emmy, Grammy, and Tony award winning actress. Just recently coming off of her 2014 Kennedy Center Honor, she is not showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon. Her new hit Netflix series with Jane Fonda called Grace and Frankie just landed her an Emmy nomination, while it has already got the green light for season 2.
Lily is also back on the big screen for her first lead role in 27 years. Paul Weitz wrote his new film Grandma with Lily in mind to play the lead. The film has been creating buzz all around the film festival circuit, and Lily is getting Oscar buzz for her performance in the film. Her last well-deserved nomination was for the movie Nashville in 1975. Lucky number 75 possibly, just saying.

We were lucky enough to meet Lily at a 9 to 5 DVD release party in Hollywood a few years ago. She was everything we thought she would be and more. You are truly Golden Lily. We are going to put it out into the universe right now, we think you will be adding two more statues to your trophy shelf this year. Thank you for proving there is still intelligent life in Hollywood!
