Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco made an announcement on Facebook this morning to share his amazing news! Starting this summer, Urie will be playing the role of Charlie Price in Kinky Boots (and yes, he gets to wear the sparkly red high heel boots at the end of the show)!
The talented musician known for his incredible vocal range and high performance energy said that Broadway has always been a “lifelong dream,” and that it’s been “on [his] bucket list for the longest time.”
In his Facebook video, he said, “I’m just so incredibly excited to be joining Kinky Boots on Broadway. That’s wild. Plus, you guys get to see me in those heels now, so that’s pretty cool.”
Urie will be starting the role of Charlie on May 26th and will be on stage 8 shows a week!
