Scratch that.

They won’t.

The top 10 performed hits from Billboard last night, but tonight the only thing they had on their mind is if they had done enough for America’s vote. Ryan didn’t waste any time however, and invited the first 3 up to hear some results:

Malaya
Dexter
Jessica

I predicted Jess and Dexter would be in trouble, but dear old Jessica was the first to be SAFE. Malaya was announced as safe as well, which meant that Dexter landed in the bottom 3 for the first time.

I can’t say I was surprised by Dexter being in danger, because I wasn’t a huge fan of the performance last night, but did America send him home?

We’ll get there.

Before we got to any more results though, Miss Jennifer Lopez took to the stage and surprised the crowd by starting off with some acappella with previous Idol contestants Pia Toscano, Jessica Sanchez and Allison Iraheta! Jenny then went right into “I Luh Ya Papi” and this woman does no wrong. She looked fantastic and the song is definitely growing on me (the video however is AMAZING). Her 10th studio album can’t come soon enough.

More results though.

Majesty
Caleb
Alex

Before we got to the votes, Caleb addressed a joke he made during the broadcast last night. When discussing other contestants, Caleb joked that they all pranked one another. Caleb made a joke about a peanut allergy. Whether or not he got heat from that, he apologized to Ryan and the viewers at home.

Ryan announced that Alex was the first one safe, but unfortunately Majesty couldn’t escape the bottom 3 once again. She joined Dexter and Caleb was safe.

Harry then introduced Louisiana band Royal Teeth, who stormed the stage with their single “Wild.”

We were slowly running out of time however, so Ryan needed to make our bottom 3. Left to find out their fates were:

MK
Sam
Jena
CJ

After getting a great message from Hunter Hayes himself, CJ was announced as the first one same and Jena quickly followed suit.

We were down to MK and Sam, who was in the bottom 3 last week. Would Sam wind up back there?

Nope.

MK joined Dexter and Majesty in the bottom 3, but Ryan quickly announced who was in jeopardy and who had to sing for survival: MK!

Unfortunately, MK Nobilette was up for the survival and belted out John Legend’s “All Of Me.” The judges appeared to be in serious conversation during the performance, with Jennifer even close to tears. Only being able to use the save until top 6 could weigh on their decision, so what was it going to be?

The decision was unfortunately not unanimous and MK was sent home.

I may have gotten on MK’s case a lot the past few weeks, but I was always a fan. I expect big things from her and can’t WAIT to see what she does next.

Until next week everyone!!
