Joe Perry, the guitarist from Aersomith and Hollywood Vampires, collapsed backstage after a show and was rushed to the hospital earlier this week.  Initially, his condition was critical but according to reports, he is stable now.

Perry was playing a gig in NYC with Hollywood Vampires, which includes music legend Alice Cooper and Hollywood legend Johnny Depp.

According to concert goers and the band, Perry was performing under the weather and had to take frequent breaks during the set.  As the concert neared its end, Perry stumbled off stage and collapsed, which some fans caught on video.

An ambulance brought him to the hospital, where it was first reported that his condition was critical.  Since then, members of Hollywood Vampires and Aerosmith have shared that his condition is stable.

We don't know yet what ailed the rock legend or how long he will be on rest before he can return to his tour, but we're sure fans of both bands are wondering if we'll see him onstage again.  Just a few weeks ago, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler announced their farewell tour and set it for 2017.  We might not get a farewell tour if something is seriously wrong with Joe Perry.

Steven Tyler may have had a busy weekend in the hospital if he was visiting Perry, because his daughter Liv Tyler also welcomed a baby girl this weekend.  Lula Rose was born last Friday (June 8).

We wish Joe Perry all the best and a very speedy recovery so we can see him and he can enjoy shredding the guitar again.

Get on Twitter and wish Joe Perry as many get well soon messages as you can so that he can be back to top form soon.  We hope he takes the time he needs to rest up as well.
