Every Tuesday night on ABC, we’re treated to one of the most outstanding shows on television; Marvel’s Agent Carter is smart, funny, action-packed and has the most kick-ass heroine in prime time. Peggy Carter is the kind of hero women and girls desperately need today with a confidence, intelligence, toughness and independence that sends a very clear message, “I know my value.”
Every week, I highlight Agent Carter’s incredible wardrobe in this column, re-creating outfits based on the costumes in the show that women can wear every day. But I don’t do it just because I love the fashion; the clothes are an extension of everything that makes Peggy Carter amazing and I believe that every woman deserves to feel her confidence, intelligence, toughness and independence. And most importantly; every woman deserves to say, with complete self-assurance, “I know my value.”
The season two finale will soon be upon us, so in an upcoming edition, I want to celebrate YOU – the fans! If you have cosplayed as Peggy Carter, made your own costume or celebrate her influence through your every day fashion, I want to hear from you! This isn’t just for women! Anyone and everyone is welcome to share their fashion love for Marvel’s Agent Carter. If your influence is Jarvis, Howard Stark, Agent Sousa, Jack, Dottie Underwood or Ana Jarvis, I want to hear from you!
