Alex Trebek Announces He Has ‘Stage-4 Pancreatic Cancer’

Longtime Jeopardy host, Alex Trebek, announced this evening that he had been diagnosed with Stage-4 Pancreatic cancer. Although he recognized the seriousness of his illness and the lack of encouraging survival rate, Trebek, in his very Trebek way is beaming with positivity and sincere intentions of beating the disease. We hope that he does.

Watch Alex Trebek’s message:

Trebek has been a staple during post-dinner family sessions for the past few decades, with Jeopardy being one of the most popular network television shows in history. Still to this day, Jeopardy is something to aspire to appearing on, and mustache, beard, or freshly shaven – Alex Trebek has, and will always be, the friendly, occasionally sharp-tongued, familiar host of a show that brings folks together.

There aren’t many developments at this stage, but we will provide updates as they happen.

We wish him all of the best and are supporting him throughout his journey. Stay tuned.
