Amanda is back! The troubled starlet who spiraled out of control earlier this year has completed her inpatient treatment and has moved out of rehab and into her parent’s home, according to reports from ABC
and People Magazine
Amanda was admitted to UCLA this summer for psychiatric evaluation following a slew of wild shenanigans and erratic behavior. The 27-year-old actress was admitted to a rehab facility in August to undergo treatment, and it appears she has had a successful recovery!
A statement from her lawyer, Tamar Arminak reads, “Amanda and her entire family would like to thank everyone who’s contacted them with good thoughts and wishes for Amanda’s recovery. Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she’s feeling better every day.”
The ambitious star of comedies like She’s the Man
is already planning her next move; and it doesn’t involve acting! “She’s now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design. She’s mentioned before she’s interested in creating a clothing line.”
Amanda’s lawyer also stated that while her inpatient treatment has been completed, she will continue an outpatient program. “[Amanda is] very happy to reestablish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”
Congratulations to Amanda for turning things around and getting back on track!
Though, I’ll still be trolling her Twitter feed…just in case.
The first photos of Amanda in 6 months show the actress sporting brunette locks and casual attire; a far cry from the wacky hairstyles and barely there looks of months gone by.
