Such a young age.
Amanda Peterson, the actress from 80’s romantic comedy hit movie Can’t Buy Me Love (alongside Patrick Dempsey) has died at the age of 43.
TMZ spoke with Peterson’s father, who said, while the official cause of death hasn’t been determined:
“She had some illness and a sleep apnea problem that may have contributed.”
She was at her home in Greeley, Colorado at the time of her passing. Her father also revealed that when he hadn’t heard from Amanda for more than 2 days, the rest of the family became concerned. They discovered her body today.
More sources are saying that Amanda struggled with health issues for, roughly, the past 2 years.
Following her breakout role in the 1987 romantic comedy, Peterson scored minor roles before leaving the industry in 1994 and had been living in Colorado since then.
PopWrapped sends its deepest condolences to Amanda’s entire family and friends during this extremely difficult time.
