The axed BBC series Ripper Street, that focuses on the aftermath of the Jack the Ripper murders, will be returning exclusively to Amazon Prime Instant Video for its 3rd season with one major perk. Show writer Richard Warlow explains that the series will not be limited to a 60 minute time slot and further adds that, “It’s very freeing. If we want to have an episode that's 65 minutes long, we can. We can put that cut out and everybody can see it." The extended episodes will only be available for the viewing pleasure of those who have an Amazon Prime membership. Ripper Street is the first UK series to be revived by an online streaming service company. The show is currently filming in Dublin and Amazon has yet to announce a release date for the hit thriller series. Check out the trailer for the 2nd season of Ripper Street below, and get ready for new episodes on Amazon: Keep Up With PopWrapped On The Web!
