The great thing about Ryan Murphy is that he is really good at choosing the right actors for his shows. It’s always surprising to me how carefully plans all of this out. Among the great actors chosen for the upcoming season of American Horror Story, the very beautiful and talented Gabrielle Sidibe will be joining the American Horror Story family.

Series creator Ryan Murphy took to Twitter with this announcement by saying: “Thrilled to announce that Oscar nominee Gabrielle Sidibe is joining the cast of American Horror Story.” Gabrielle will be right at home with Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy and Taissa Farmiga, all of whom have been confirmed to return for season three.

No details have been released in regards to when the new season will air, but we do know that the new season is being filmed on location in New Orleans, right alongside True Blood. Doesn’t get much better than that!
