Pia Toscano was voted off the 10^th series of American Idol but Jennifer Lopez, her mentor, continued to coach her.

JLo has now hired her as a backup singer for her newest tour. The tour started on Friday, May 30^th and, Toscano will join Lopez for 6 dates.

She will also join Jennifer for her homecoming show in the Bronx on June 20^th in Central Park.

Pia will be keeping herself very busy after the tour. She was contracted by the hockey team, the Los Angeles Kings, to sing the National Anthem for 20 home games. She spoke wonders about Lopez and what good fortune she’s had.

Pia told The Hollywood Reporter “I have to pinch myself a little bit that I am in the same room with her now.”
