From construction to winning the latest season of ABC’s American Idol, Noah Thompson is adjusting to fame quickly.
“I’ve been working with them [construction crew] for the past few years. For them, it’s really cool because they get to see me grow and learn,” tells Noah. “They were the ones that pushed me to do this in the first place. So it’s just a really, really big deal for all of us.”
After being convinced to audition for Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Linoel Richie on American Idol, Noah quickly saw his life change in an unexpected way. He quickly caught the attention of America and they soared him the newest American Idol winner.
“I still can’t find the words to explain,” shares Noah. “Anybody I met through the whole show deserved to run in the show. For it to be me to actually win the show, it’s just pretty incredible.”
In addition to winning the show, Noah released his debut single titled “One Day Tonight.” The single was produced by Jimmy Robbins and written by Brett Sheroky, Jared Griffin, and Trannie Anderson.
During CMA Fest 2022, the new country artist joined artists like Jimmie Allen and former American Idol alum Laci Kay Booth and Chayce Beckham to perform throughout the festival alongside second-place contestants HunterGirl.
“Feels super good, it’s almost like a relief,” tells Noah. “Being on American Idol for so long, HunterGirl and I’ve been putting in lots of hard work. We’re down here together and it feels good to just have some fun and perform.”
