Horror fans are definitely up for a treat, as a classic is about to be brought back to life once more. Apparently, the iconic Freddy Krueger is preparing to make a comeback on the big screen pretty soon, as there’s yet another A Nightmare On Elm Streetreboot on the way.Even though it’s been hardly half a decade since the last reboot of A Nightmare On Elm Street, New Line already has one more in the works. Not only has David Leslie Johnson, of Orphan and Wrath Of Titans fame, been hired to pen the script, but they’re also expected to go back to the drawing board in order to “create a remake worthy of the original”. As it seems, the company is looking to start building up some hype around the forthcoming project, by getting the fans’ hopes up a bit early. Of course the reboot is meant to kick off a franchise, something the last one failed to achieve. It will definitely be interesting to find out what the revamped Freddy Krueger will look like, especially when the time will come for casting details to surface. Robert Englund was basically the one to bring the character to life back in the 80′s, way before Jackie Earle Haley got on board for the 2010 reboot. The last remake managed to become a commercial success, despite lacking the quality of the original and thus not getting similar critical response. Are you optimistic about the upcoming reboot of A Nightmare On Elm Street?
