After collaborating with a whole lot of artists, Cashmere Cat is now taking it out on his own. With his debut studio album currently on the way, the producer and DJ has released his very own first single, which is titled “Adore” and has Ariana Grande on the vocals.
"Adore" rocks an urban-tinged electronic production, with lots of elements keeping it extremely busy throughout. Despite EDM elements making slight appearances here and there, the track is kept at midtempo throughout. Upon first listen, you can tell it’s more of a slow-burning jam than a fast-paced, dancefloor anthem. Ariana Grande manages to sing beautifully on top of Cashmere Cat’s intense production, with her vocals perfectly on point and in harmony with the synths.
Cashmere Cat previously collaborated with Ariana Grande on “Be My Baby”, off her sophomore studio album, My Everything. With her now returning the favor, the two took the stage and premiered “Adore” during the first night of the songstress’ Honeymoon tour. This one serves as the lead single from his forthcoming, as-yet-untitled first studio album. Give it a listen below.
