Ariana Grande is currently promoting her latest single, "Love Me Harder", which features R&B artist The Weeknd. After teasing lots of promotional photos from the set and behind-the-scenes video footage, the songstress has finally premiered the accompanying music video for the track.
The Hannah Lux Davis-directed visuals find Ariana Grande in the sand-filled remains of a once-luxurious house, dressed in a sexy black outfit and wearing her signature cat ears. The Weeknd delivers his own verse downstairs in the same house before the two meet and sing back-to-back. The weather plays an important role in the otherwise rather uneventful clip, with the sun taking over the clouds as soon as the first chorus kicks in; a strike of lightning crosses the sky at the end of the second verse and rain pours down on the mansion's floor.
The music video is simple but rather effective at displaying the passion of the love story described in the song's lyrics. "Love Me Harder" is the third single to be lifted from Ariana Grande's sophomore studio album, My Everything. The track serves as a follow-up to the Iggy Azalea-assisted "Problem" and the Zedd-featuring "Break Free".
