Two of the world’s most influential and inspirational members of the global trans-community finally met last night when Laverne Cox and Caitlyn Jenner attended a private screening of Jenner’s new documentary I Am Cait.
Cox, the breakout star of Orange Is The New Black, and Jenner, fresh from receiving her Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs, posed for pictures together, which Cox then shared on her Instagram.
Jenner, during her acceptance speech at the awards ceremony last week, listed Cox to be one of her many inspirations, which didn’t go unnoticed as she took to her Twitter to send back her own message of support.

Individually, what these two have done and are doing, for the global transgendered community between the attention and awareness, we can only imagine what’s possible when they put their heads together.
Jenner’s documentary I Am Cait premieres this Sunday, July 26.
