Have you ever wondered what it’s like for families of the uber famous? What is it like never being able to get a bite to eat or fill up your gas tank without somebody harassing your mother, father, grandmother?
In a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Emma Ferrer gives an in-depth look at what it’s like for families of the rich and famous. In her case, what it was like to be the granddaughter of America’s original sweetheart, Audrey Hepburn.
You can read the full interview here, but Emma simply thought of her dear old granny as that: granny. Not Audrey Hepburn the actress, no Breakfast at Tiffany’s or Holly Golightly. Just family.
On top of the beautiful, intimate interview; we were given an even bigger gift. Hepburn was arguably one of the most photographed stars of her time; and some of the most iconic shots were created through the lens of the brilliant Richard Avedon. For this interview, Ferrer recreated some of these iconic shots with Avedon’s grandson.
You can check out the breathtakingly beautiful tribute in the gallery below; alongside some of the original shots that served as inspiration.
