Canadian pop punk singer Avril Lavigne recently opened up about her collaboration with husband (lead singer of Nickleback) Chad Kroeger on their duet called “Let Me Go”. "So working with Chad was awesome because I found a husband and that was the best thing that came out of the experience," she joked to MTV News. "No, we had a great time. We really just celebrated music together and we both love writing and creating; it's non-stop.” “Let Me Go” isn’t the only song Lavigne and Kroeger co-wrote together. They also co-wrote Lavigne’s lead single “Here’s To Never Growing Up.” Both being song writers and musicians, there’s really no doubt that inspiring ideas would go bouncing back and forth between Lavigne and Kroeger. Living together in the same house is just the cherry on top. That just might possibly be every singer’s dream. However, Lavigne’s self-titled album isn’t all about love letters and pretty tunes. Lavigne mentions that the record is really diverse. One of her songs called “Hello Kitty” has an electronic feel, and is far from what she has ever done before. Her song ‘Bad Girl’ is one of the heavier and darker tunes on the album, which features Marilyn Manson, someone who has been Lavigne’s inspiration for quite some time now.
