The majestic laser cat has long been a spectacle of internet lore. Just set a Google search out with those two glorious words and you’ll be bloody bombarded by a myriad of cats of all shapes and sizes, with the one identifying feature for each of them being their affinity for t3h l@z3rz. One of the greatest cases in laser cat history, however, has now come to a conclusion involving- believe it or not –a dog, of all things, for added flavor.
Awkward Family Photo lovers everywhere should be well-informed of the story of Draven Rodriguez, who had petitioned his high school earlier this year for the opportunity to pay homage to laser cats everywhere by posing with his own, Mr. Bigglesworth, over a laser backdrop in the yearbook. Surprisingly, Schenectady High School succumbed to the Glory That Be Thine Laser Cat and accepted Rodriguez’s appeal, though with a twist thrown into the mix.
Instead of just Mr. Bigglesworth and Mr. Rodriguez being featured together in the Schenectady High yearbook, they are being joined by Principal Diane Wilkinson and her chihuahua, Vivienne. In honor of animal rights, cat and dog put aside their differences for a moment to join together with their humans for what is potentially one of the most amazing photos of all time.
With the attention being brought to the photo, too, as well as Rodriguez’s successful saga as a whole, donations are already piling in to the Animal Protective Foundation in Glenville, NY. Amazing job, Mr. Bigglesworth and company!
