Barnes And Noble To Offer 500,000 Signed Editions For Black Friday

Barnes and Noble will be offering 500,000 signed editions of books from over 100 authors as part of it’s Black Friday sale.

Bookselling giants Barnes & Noble have really upped the ante for Black Friday 2015. In stores only this Friday, the nation’s largest retail bookseller will be offering over 500,000 signed editions of popular books by over 100 authors in every store nationwide, featuring some of the biggest names of not only the literary world, but entertainment and politics as well.

Starting on Black Friday, every Barnes & Noble store in the country will have a selection of 100 of these signed editions, while supplies last. These signed copies range from classic authors like Anne Rice and Neil Gaiman to some of the hottest books right now such as signed copies of James Dashner’s The Maze Runner and EL James’ Fifty Shades Trilogy. This expansive list also includes everyone from influential politicians such as George W. Bush and Hillary Clinton to some of the biggest names in entertainment including Neil Patrick Harris and Drew Barrymore.

Barnes and Noble have been working on this undertaking for over half a year, coordinating with authors and publishers to make this promotion a reality. According to Jaime Carey, Chief Merchandising Officer at Barnes & Noble, a promotion of this magnitude “…has never been done at this scale before by any bookseller or retailer. What you are seeing here is Barnes & Noble working together with more than 100 leading authors to give our customers access to half a million truly special signed gifts this holiday season for book collectors and reading lovers.”
