Many fans were upset at the announcement popular fantasy TV show, Merlin was ending. However the BBC has commissioned a new TV series called ‘Atlantis’. The show has been given a 13-episode run and will occupy Merlin’s previous slot on Saturday night, filming is due to start in April.
The series synopsis as follows: “The city of Atlantis is a mysterious, ancient place; a world of bull leaping, of snake haired goddesses and of palaces so vast it was said they were built by giants.” So it seems the show isn’t going to be a replica of Merlin, instead it will be a following a Greek Mythology route – sounds interesting, Atlantis will start airing this Autumn!
