Beautiful Bones – Sakurako’s Investigation Licensed By Sentai

The anime series Beautiful Bones – Sakurako’s Investigation has officially been acquired by Sentai Filmworks for a home video release ahead of its premiere.

The upcoming anime series titled Beautiful Bones – Sakurako’s Investigation has already been licensed by Sentai Filmworks for a North American home video release. The anime is set to air in Japan this month so an official release date is currently unknown, but we do know that Beautiful Bones – Sakurako’s Investigation is based on a light novel by Shiori Ota, and Sentai describes the anime by saying that, “the story follows a series of incidents surrounding a normal high school student named Shotaro Tatewaki, his older girlfriend, Sakurako Kujo, and her infatuation for ‘beautiful bones.'”

Makoto Kato will serve as the series director who is known for his work on series like Attack On Titan and Aldnoah.Zero, with Michio Sato filling the role of character designer and chief animation director. Sato’s work includes Tokyo Ravens, Deadman Wonderland, and Tokyo Ghoul among many other popular series. With the new series airing sometime soon you can be certain we’ll discover more about the plot of the anime (unless you are aware of the previous literature) but the thought of anything with an element of mystery is enough to initially intrigue me! Will you also be giving Beautiful Bones – Sakurako’s Investigation a chance? Let us know below in the comments and look for the first episode on Crunchyroll starting October 7th!
