New Beauty And The Beast Toys Show Off The Live Action Characters | Beauty and the Beast Toys

Are you ready to revisit a tale as old as time? Well, if the trailer left you wanting more, then the new Beauty and the Beast toys are the answer to your prayers. Most notable is probably the Enchanting Melodies Belle Doll. Not only does the doll offer a wonderful look at Belle’s classic yellow gown, it is also a preview of Emma Watson’s singing! Press a button on the doll’s stomach to hear Watson’s rendition of “Something There.” The doll will be available both in stores and online this month, so all you Disney fans had better be on the lookout!

In addition to the preview into the movie’s songs, Hasbro has also unveiled a Deluxe Duo 2-Pack for all you lovebirds out there who want Beauty with her Beast. This look also features their romantic ballroom outfits and offers a great look at how they’ll appear on screen as a couple dancing the night away. Alternatively, you can also pick up dolls designed to recreate the enchanted rose scene:

“Kids, collectors and fans of this timeless classic will love to create their own magical moments with these small dolls.”

Plus, you can complete the look by adding in the castle’s other delightful inhabitants. The Castle Friends Collection features the live-action versions of Lumiere, Cogsworth, Plumette, Mrs. Potts, and Chip, so you can get a good look at this more realistic take on these classic animated characters.

Along with a look at the upcoming toy releases, Entertainment Weekly got a behind the scenes look at what went into making the costumes, specifically the ballroom gown:

“We camera-tested a lot of yellows ... It was just trying to work out the tone.”

It was also revealed that Watson herself has input on the dress, as she wanted something that showed how active Belle was. That means something that was easy to walk in, with no corset.

What do you think of these Beauty and the Beast toys? Do you agree with the movie’s interpretation? Watch the trailer again, and let us know in the comments!

Beauty and the Beast hits theaters March 17.
