Behind The Scenes Look At Miley Cyrus’ Pre-VMA Meltdown

Few celebrities have been monopolizing headlines like Miley Cyrus has as of late. It all started when her video for “We Can’t Stop” was released to the public. People were a little wary of the young star’s new image, which consisted of her dancing around in little clothing, partying with some oversized teddy bears, and performing her version of twerking.

But the public was okay with it. It was different, sure, but it wasn’t anything too off-the-wall; we had certainly seen worse. Then the VMAs happened, and the proverbial shit hit the fan.

What the world didn’t see was Miley having a freak out because her big entrance was thwarted. Cyrus had planned to arrive in a cop car, but her “transfer vehicle” totally dropped the ball and drove right past the cruiser to a queue of star-crazed fans.

In clips from the documentary, Miley: The Movement, we get to see Miley’s reaction to these blunders first hand. Many a behind-the-scenes organizer bore the brunt of Miley’s fury.

“Don’t show me. This been ruined, so f**k it, let me just get out of the f**king car,” she furiously states. “I don’t wanna now reverse and then everyone see me get in the car. That wasn’t the point. The point was to show up in the f**king [police] car.

“This is f**king lame. Stop f**king backing me the f**k up. This s**t looks lame. Are you kidding? Let’s just get out. F**k it.”

That’s a lot of expletives in a very short amount of time; and she wasn’t finished. An event organizer, who could not hear Miley through the throng of screaming guests, opened Miley’s door to try and get the party started. A move that would get her a tongue-lashing from Cyrus as she pulls the door closed.

“Are you f**king kidding… everyone knows I’m here.” Cyrus then proceeds to mope before ultimately deciding to just get out of the damn car already.

Later in the film, Miley tried to defend her actions by saying that, “I do get so overwhelmed when I’m going to perform because everything has to be perfect.

“I want every time you see me to be amazing. Everything has to be so huge, everything has to be a moment. If I’m going to do it, it has to be done the biggest and the best.

“I can easily let little things that don’t matter that much shut me down completely. If one little detail’s off, it makes me hate it all.”

Miley: The Movement aired last night on MTV in the US, and will air tonight in the UK at 8:00 p.m.
