Mulder and Scully are back and Entertainment Weekly have provided some exclusive behind-the-scenes pics!

Even though the duo were last seen together in 2008’s X-Files film –The X-Files: I Want To Believe, these pictures will make any fan of the series squeal for joy at  seeing our favourite alien investigators back on our TV screens.

The show was originally on the air from 1992 – 2002 and has produced two films along the way.

When asked about where his character is, David Duchovny told Entertainment Weekly, “Mulder’s not in a great place, he’s wearing bad jeans, so you can just extrapolate from my wardrobe. He’s in a dark, dark place.’

Actress Gillian Anderson who plays Dana Scully is excited about where the characters relationship is as well as the reboot of the TV show, as she explained to the magazine, “I also like the area of zeitgeist that we step in to. It’s on point and raises some very interesting issues. And question marks.”

The show is expected to make its debut on FOX on Sunday January 24th 2016.
