The Zoolander family name lives on.
Ben Stiller and co. have been in Italy for the past several weeks filming the long awaited sequel to the 2001 comedy Zoolander. Zoolander 2 will resume the story of Derek Zoolander, the world's most famous male model and originator of such iconic looks as “Blue Steel,” “Magnum,” and “Le Tigre” (although that one's a lot softer, it's more of a catalog look).
At the end of the first film it was revealed that Derek had a child, and in an Instagram photo posted Monday by Stiller himself, we have our first look at the older Derek Jr.

The heir to the Zoolander name is being portrayed by Cyrus Arnold, a young actor who has thus far appeared mostly in guest spots on young adult shows such as Nickelodeon's Sam & Cat. However, after joining a cast full of really, really ridiculously good-looking people to feature in the sequel to one of the greatest cinematic triumphs of our time, this observer wouldn't be surprised if we see much more of young Cyrus in the future.
Zoolander 2 is set to be released on February 12, 2016, a date embedded into my mind due to unhealthy levels of anticipation.
