As self-love and body confidence continues to gain traction as a hot topic in the media, particularly online, the new song from Beth Macari, titled “I Am”, which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere, is a strong addition to the many releases over the past few months that encourage listeners to be confident in and about themselves.
Beth says of her new single: “The song is about empowerment and being able to love yourself for who you are. It is so easy to listen to the negative opinions of others, but you have to always believe in who you are and keep working on yourself, as you are good enough no matter what anyone else says. I hope this single really connects with people and spreads the message of how important your mental health and self-love is.” 100% of the sales of “I Am” will be donated to local mental health charity If You Care Share, which works to prevent suicide and support those bereaved by it.
The release of “I Am” – Beth’s third single of 2020 , following on from “I Promise” in March and “You Made Me Cry” in May which earned her considerable attention from outlets including Spotlight Magazine – marks another moment in what is proving to be a big and busy year for the singer, and she’ll soon release I Am Everything, a short film comprising of five music videos from her EP of the same name.
