Earlier this month Twitter users caught word of the alleged names for Beyonce and Jay-Z's twins and were quick to share their disapproval. The chosen names were supposedly Shawn and Bea, after their famed parents, and their fans thought the names did not live up to expectations compared to sister Blue Ivy. Yet as allusive as Beyonce and Jay-Z have been known to keep their lives, it is no surprise to learn the real names are different than those of rumors.
Beyonce posted a photo on Instagram, her first since the birth of the twins a little over a month ago, which lived up to the expectations fans had regarding her return to social media. The singer stands surrounded by lush green bushes, a landscape of water behind her, engulfed in floral fabric. But the focal point of the photo is not where she is or what she is wearing, rather what she is holding. Cradled in her arms are the news twins, Sir Carter and Rumi.
The caption reads "Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today" and has close to 10,000,000 likes. The photo confirms the twins birthday, June 14th, and is the first time we have seen a glimpse or heard any news of the babes since Beyonce's father posted a photo on father's day celebrating their births. When announcing her pregnancy earlier this year, Beyonce started a theme her 1 month update follows, an ethereal nature scene, almost seeming mythical or of some deity notions.
Of course fans are not only freaking out about the newest addition to the family, they also are losing their minds over Beyonce's trim physique. Sources say she has not worked out since giving birth 1 month ago, but looks toned and happy in photos she posted to her Instagram account.
