Bill O’Reilly is known for his plan to defeat ISIS using a Congress-funded mercenary army, and it seems he strongly believes in it. His belief is supported by a whopping 70% of his fans voting in favor of it, in an unofficial online poll. Therefore, he’s angry with political satirist, Stephen Colbert, for making fun of his plan.
Colbert has, naturally, gone and mocked O’Reilly’s terrible idea in a ridiculous way. Sarcasm and all aside, his criticism was perfectly on point regarding the logic of having people kill for money, instead of their love for the country. O’Reilly wasn’t very happy, and fired back, calling Colbert “dumb” and without a “bleeping clue” about actions in the Middle East. Now couldn’t he just keep that to himslef?
No matter how bad his idea is, all Bill O’Reilly really did was angrily reply to a public joke made about it by a satirist. Definitely not the most politically correct move to make, is it?
Take a look for yourself.
