Pizza Hut Revives Book It! Program For Adults

Remember Book It!? Yeah, I know you do. It’s time to rejoice ’cause Pizza Hut is bringing Book It! back for you – yes, you!

If you were a kid back in the ’80s or the ’90s, then you are definitely familiar with Pizza Hut’s Book It! program. For a good 30 years, the dine-in restaurants have been serving a free pan pizza at the end of every month, just for reading books. If you think growing up sucks for making you miss the deal, it’s time to rejoice ’cause it’s coming back for you – yes, you!

If you were a casual reader of books, you could easily earn yourself a pan pizza of your preference from Pizza Hut. All you needed to do was collect stars after finishing a book from the list and get some free pizza just with showing your progress. As a promotion that helped kids love reading, it had a massive appeal and a cultural impact that brings nostalgia to everyone familiar with it.

Pizza Hut is now preparing to celebrate Book It!’s 30th anniversary, with the creation of its Alumni Program. This new version arrives for adults who would like to relive the excitement of their childhood memories. As a grown-up, your job is much easier than the one you did as a kid. The restaurants offer the chance to just fill in some information and receive a carryout coupon for a free pizza of your choice. Simple, isn’t it?
