Tickets went on sale today (Monday, April 6) for the benefit concert ‘Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration’ that will be held on May 30 at the TD Garden, in an effort to raise money for the charity, One Fund Boston.
Aerosmith
and
James Taylor
are confirmed as headliners for the show, which also features
New Kids on the Block, Carole King, Jimmy Buffett, Jason Aldean
and legendary Boston group,
The J Geils Band
. Comedians
Dane Cook and
Steven Wright
are also scheduled to perform, with more artists to be named during the coming weeks.
April 15 saw more than 260 people injured and three lives lost, when two bombs were exploded near the finishing line of the Boston Marathon.
Ticket prices range from $35 to $285 and are available through Ticketmaster and LiveNation.
