3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold just showed in a great way that he does not approve of hitting women, most especially not on his watch.

During a recent concert with his band in Bromfield, Colorado, Arnold stopped mid-song when he noticed something in the audience. Apparently, a man had shoved a fellow female concertgoer, and this did not sit well with the performer.

Arnold shouted “Hey homie! You don’t hit a woman. You just pushed a woman out of the way to get in a fight, you dick.”

He then told the man to “Get out of here!” and promptly had him escorted out of the concert. The crowd was ecstatic over what Arnold did and showed their appreciation by applauding him.

Fellow band member, guitarist Chris Henderson was also suitably impressed with Arnold and posted about the incident on the band’s Facebook account: “Just another reason I’m proud to be in this band!!”

Now that’s a rock idol!
