Brad Paisely may be a bonafide country superstar with twelve million records sold , and three Grammys under his belt. But when it comes to his children, he and his wife Kimberly-Williams Paisley prefer to keep things simple.
In speaking to People Country, the country crooner describes his perfect night as barbecue take-out with his family in Tennessee, followed by a ride with his sons on their bikes and him on a skateboard. What a lovely sight that would be!
Although he does admit that there is nothing normal with living in an 87-acre ranch he calls home. But nonetheless he and his wife are focused on making sure that their sons, 7 year old Huck and 5 year old Jasper, would stay grounded and humble. In other words, the exact opposite of celebrity kids with weird names and golden-diamond encrusted rattles.
“Not once have we been in a toy store and I’ve said, ‘Yeah, I’ll get you that,’” Paisley says. “We try to make them understand that nothing is free and they have to earn things.”
A lot of celebrity dads could learn a thing or two from Brad and his wife.
