This is crazy! Medical professionals are seeking a two-week extension to hold troubled actress, Amanda Bynes, for a mental health evaluation following her arrest earlier this week.
Amanda was arrested Monday night for starting a fire in her driveway and was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold so she could be observed and evaluated for her erratic behaviors.
The 72 hour hold may be extended due to reports coming in that Amanda is exhibiting signs of schizophrenia.
According to TMZ, Amanda’s parents will most likely petition a judge to put her in a conservatorship (déjà vu back to Britney’s mental battle). “Amanda’s parents have wanted to take action for the past couple of months – but they didn’t have the goods because Amanda’s conduct was not so over the line that a judge would take away her freedom.”
With all of the crazy antics and weird behavior the former Nickelodeon star has been displaying something like this was bound to happen eventually.
