A school shooting
has taken place in Washington, at Marysville-Pilchuck High School and while details are still developing, a few things are known.
The shooter (and it's presumed to be someone of a high school age) opened fire in the cafeteria, and later took their own life. So far we also know that a student was killed
in the ordeal, and maybe up to 4 others are injured, one of which had to be airlifted out of the area.
Students inside at the time of the shooting have said that it was first perceived as a fire drill, but turned terrifyingly real once teachers ushered them to safety. Nearly 1,200 students are at this school along with staff, and the police Commander Robb Lamoureaux said they had the school still in lockdown.
