Shona Carter of Tennessee recently gave her baby a ride on a train, but it definitely wasn’t Thomas the Tank Engine!
Carter wore “something old, something new-BORN” when she attached her daughter to the folds of her wedding dress train and dragged the infant down the aisle with her during the ceremony!
Once a photo of the incident went viral, social media let fly the expected dismay and disapproval, including accusations of child endangerment against the bride.
Carter responded on Facebook that the one-month-old was never in any harm, and went on to attack the naysayers and declare that the whole affair had the stamp of approval from Jesus Christ himself.
“We good though we covered by the Blood (of Christ) which never loose [sic] its power,” Carter wrote.
She also added, “So keep ya mouths running for it was just that Exclusive and Epic enough we made top blog way from small town Ripley, TN and the social media doing what they do, TALK!!!!”
That last statement makes us wonder whether the baby-dragging had more to do with deliberate attention-seeking than family bonding or the will of Jesus.
What do you think, PopWrappers? Was Carter’s one-of-a-kind human accessory creative, crazy, or downright criminal? Let us know in the comments!
