It’s Britney Day, Bitch!

That’s right, Clark County officially proclaimed November 5th as Britney Day in honor of the pop star due to all her hard work and the success of her residency.

Today, Ms. Britney Spears is not only being blessed with her own dedicated day, but she’s also receiving keys to the Las Vegas Strip. Thinking back on it, coming from Baby One More Time to this? I’d say that’s a hell of an accomplishment.

Britney took to twitter today to show her excitement and how much this all meant to her by saying: “Today is already so special… 🙂 #HappyBritneyDay.”

Another pretty awesome thing about today? Starting at 8 a.m. this morning, the first 100 people who prove they are too named Britney get two tickets to the Piece of Me show at Planet Hollywood along with a ride on the High Roller observation wheel. (Not gonna lie, I kinda wish I were named Britney right now.)

Only ten other people have been handed a key to the strip, which became an official in October 2013.

Congratulations to Ms. Britney Spears! You’ve been working your ass off for fifteen years and you definitely deserve it!
