People of the world, throughout the week you will have the opportunity to listen to Britney’s newest album, Britney Jean, for free on the First Play service of iTunes, a week ahead of its release.

The album, which drops December 3rd — a day after the Muse of Pop’s 32nd birthday, was produced by the likes of Dr. Luke, will.i.am, William Orbit, and Keith Harris. Britney herself said she was heavily involved in the songwriting and producing process, and has said numerous times she’s very proud of it and it is “her most personal record” yet.
Fans and casual listeners alike will step on familiar ground with Britney Jean. While it features heavily electro-driven melodies, her voice and several bits of the album really take you as far back as …Baby, One More Time. It contains songs that can either be club bangers or tunes to sing along to in your bedroom/car/moment of solitude/with your friends.
It really deserves a chance to be listened to. Check it out, and if you like what you hear, make sure you pick it up next Monday. Welcome back, Britney Jean.
