With a taste of your lips she's on a ride... Er, that's usually the case for pop icon Britney Spears; however, due to a prop malfunction at Spears's January 2 Piece Of Me Show the "Toxic" siren was left taking the stairs.
The malfunction in question occurred during the show's jungle themed set and was centered around the largest prop on the show, a massive tree which figures heavily into the "Toxic" performance. After performing a stripped back ballad version of the track atop the tree Britney Spears takes an epic leap through rain to join her dancers on the ground. Although the Britney Jean songstress was strapped into her bungee harness and ready to take the plunge (to a toxic paradise), stage hands realized that the set was not working appropriately and rushed up the prop to unhook her).

Ever the professional, Britney Spears raced down the steps that wound around the tree in order to make it to the front of the stage for "Toxic's" dance break. Arriving only a few moments behind schedule Britney Spears and her dancers proceeded with the show as though nothing out of the ordinary had occurred.

Spears took the stage for a final performance on the eleventh leg of the Las Vegas show the following evening and performed without any visible hitches. After the show the "Hold It Against Me" songstress took to social media to post a snap of her dancers celebrating the final show of the run. She and her dancers are expected back onstage on February 13, 2016 and will perform with dates scattered through April.
If she keeps handling things with such professionalism, we'd have to predict that Spears will have many years of performances ahead of her!
