Amazon has some explaining to do with The Boss.
Although the album had a release date of January 13, 2014, Bruce Springsteen’s High Hopes was unexpectedly leaked on Amazon this past Saturday (December 28).
Fans were able to download individual tracks on Amazon’s mobile website until the company discovered their mistake and removed the album.
According to Billboard, fans have already placed songs from Springsteen’s album onto illegal file-sharing sites.
The new album will feature the usual E Street Band players, as well as new faces—Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello.
High Hopes is The Boss’s newest musical endeavor since his last album Wrecking Ball) was released early 2012.
